Montevideo, June 10, 2025 \u2013 Fundaci\u00f3n ReachingU, in partnership with the Pelota al Medio program of the Ministry of the Interior and the UNESCO Office in Montevideo, held the first Soccer for Education event \u2014an initiative that brought together Uruguayan football legends and 190 children from public schools in Casab\u00f3, Malv\u00edn Norte, Marconi, and Cruz de Carrasco.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The activity took place at the Old Christians Club and marked the kickoff of a project that combines sports, education, and solidarity, aiming to promote coexistence, respect, and teamwork through a meaningful experience. What was experienced on the field will continue in the classroom: each participating school will develop pedagogical activities to further explore the values of sport as part of their educational project.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cIn Uruguay, soccer is identity and inspiration.
