There, together with the teaching staff, he developed an innovative method to manage the institution based on the principles of collaborative working, the theory of Learning Styles, smart organizations, games, and technology. The team called it \u201cMultipurpose Pedagogies\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By implementing their proposal, the team led by Carlos helps their students become main players in building up their own knowledge, share their joy of learning, and enjoy life with their peers and within the community. Thanks to this innovative approach, High School N\u00ba 3 in Fray Bentos achieved results that are very superior to their 2021 students\u2019 national graduation average.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The jury highlighted the \u201cgreat impact\u201d of Carlos\u2019 project and agreed on the fact that he gathers the characteristics they are looking for in an \u201ceducational leader\u201d. Carlos\u2019 leadership meant a revolution for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">High School N\u00ba 3 in Fray Bentos and had \u201cvery clear performance and learning goals\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vice President of the Republic Beatriz Argim\u00f3n conferred the prize and emphasized that teachers are \u201cdefined by constant commitment\u201d. In this sense, she stated that the prize \u201cis a great tribute\u201d, and she thanked the ReachingU Foundation for \u201ccreating this instance to know the experiences of the teachers all over the country\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event also highlighted the participation of the finalist teachers: Ver\u00f3nica Mart\u00ednez, School N\u00ba 61 in Montevideo; Laura Marinoff, School N\u00ba 31 in Trinidad, Flores; Silbina Mieres, High School N\u00ba 11 in Montevideo; and Victoria Su\u00e1rez, High School N\u00ba 2 in Dolores, Soriano.<\/span>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_video src=&#8221;https:\/\/youtu.be\/lRBJCe6IraE&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.18.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_video][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carlos Estigarribia is the winner of the fourth edition of the ReachingU Uruguayan Teacher Prize 2022, organized by the ReachingU Foundation, that showcases the work of those who practice this profession which is vital for the progress of a society.
