Professional Development Cycle for Teachers by Fundación ReachingU

This cycle includes three complementary initiatives aimed at strengthening the skills of Uruguayan teachers: • 2nd Teacher Development Conference: A two-day in-person event designed to empower educators as agents of change through workshops and community-building activities. Finalists from the six previous editions of the ReachingU Award (35 teachers from across the country) will participate. • Thematic Colloquium Series: Five virtual sessions, each lasting two hours, covering key topics such as learning and challenges, scientific thinking, inclusion, pedagogical leadership, and early childhood education. • Professional Development Courses: Online training programs ranging from 15 to 30 hours, focusing on essential areas such as early childhood reading mediation, learning assessment, and school coexistence. The goal is to reach 1,000 teachers nationwide. The professional development series for teachers organized by Fundación ReachingU was declared of interest by the National Administration of Public Education and the Ministry of Education and Culture.
