Program
The quality of teaching practice is one of the factors with the greatest impact on the learning outcomes of children and adolescents. Evidence is clear: better-trained teachers achieve better educational results.
At Fundación ReachingU, we promote teacher professional development as a continuous process of learning, reflection, and action, aimed at strengthening the knowledge, skills, and teaching practices of educators and other education professionals working with vulnerable populations in Uruguay.
Through the Teacher Development Program, we support and fund training initiatives that promote ongoing professional development in key areas such as mathematics education, learning difficulties, literacy, pedagogical leadership, and educational inclusion.
Great teachers inspire, transform, and make a difference. That is why we focus on the development, continuous learning, and recognition of those who teach.
We firmly believe that investing in teachers is one of the most effective strategies to expand opportunities and transform realities.
