The programs of this strategic area target at developing reading and writing skills of children and adolescents, with the final aim of improving learning.

Language is considered in its broadest form, both in its cognitive dimension -which enables thought and reflection- and in its communicative component -which includes both written and oral-.

The possibilities of developing quality learning in this area enables opportunities for access to knowledge in others, allowing the full development of people in a society where language is decisive for the construction of learning itself, the ability to learn and social coexistence.
