ReachingU Celebrates 25 Years in the United States

This September, Fundación ReachingU celebrates 25 years in the United States, the country where its story began.

Twenty-five years ago, a group of Uruguayans living in the United States came together to keep contributing to Uruguay’s future. That’s how ReachingU was born. Today, that community has grown, but its purpose remains the same: creating more and better educational opportunities for children and adolescents in Uruguay.

To celebrate this journey and keep building what comes next, this September the Foundation will hold events with the Uruguayan community in Washington DC, Miami, and New York City.

A gathering to celebrate our 25th anniversary, share ReachingU’s impact, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing education in Uruguay.
