Music in Support of Educational Processes – Administración Nacional de Educación Pública (National Public Education Administration – ANEP) and Servicio Oficial de Difusión, Representaciones y Espectáculos (National Center for Performing Arts – SODRE)

The project offers instrumental and choral music initiation for primary and secondary school students, who actively participate in orchestras and choirs, promoting collective learning, a sense of belonging, and the development of positive relationships. Through musical practice, the program contributes to the development of cognitive, socio-emotional, and interpersonal skills, with positive impacts on academic performance and school coexistence. This initiative also facilitates access to cultural circuits, expanding educational horizons and opportunities. By integrating art and education, Music in Support of Educational Processes generates academic, social, and community impact, supporting students’ retention and development within the education system. External evaluations have confirmed improvements in learning outcomes and community integration.
