Carlos Batthyány

Medical, Ph.D. with a post-doctorate in pharmacology, specifically in the design and development of drugs for the treatment of cardio, immune, and metabolic diseases (eg metabolic syndrome, obesity, type 2 diabetes, atherosclerosis). Head of the Vascular Biology and Drug Development laboratory; Founder and CMO of Eolo Pharma (a startup created to follow the developments of the laboratory into clinical trials) and I am currently serving as Executive Director of the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo.
