The project consists of granting a scholarship to fund the fees at the Catholic University of Uruguay for an outstanding high school student graduated from the Santa Luisa de Marillac School.
The High School Santa Luisa de Marillac is part of the Sophia Foundation, a network of mostly fragile and blue-collar family Catholic Schools. The Foundation assists 34 centers, and it seeks to contribute to teaching innovation to benefit education centers in general, but especially those attended by the most vulnerable sectors of society.
The amount indicated as granted to each program is the one approved by Fundación ReachingU Board of Directors. The funds that each organization receives may differ due to adjustments made to the programs or variations in the exchange rate.
