ReachingU National Teacher Prize is an initiative that recognizes the exceptional work of Uruguayan educators who make a difference in their communities. The five finalists receive a training scholarship, and the winner is awarded USD 5,000.
It is the local version of the Global Teacher Prize by the Varkey Foundation, making it part of a network of over 40 national awards.
With the support of committed companies and organizations, this award promotes educational quality, professional teacher development, and access to opportunities across Uruguay.
The amount indicated as granted to each program is the one approved by Fundación ReachingU Board of Directors. The funds that each organization receives may differ due to adjustments made to the programs or variations in the exchange rate.
