This project aims to change students’ behavior and societies’ mindset concerning climate change and environmental threats through education.
Teachers will receive a free curriculum co-authored with WWF and a lesson plans which will guide them through the six weeks. The project is open for students aged 4-21. Every grade is able to participate at its own capacity.
Teachers can sign up and join the project at all times. We are flexible: you can skip or combine weeks. The project used to be a yearly event in October/November and most teachers still join during those weeks – but one can join throughout the whole year.
The opening ceremony is on September 23, at 10 am (UY time). During 6 weeks, students will brainstorm, explore, create, discuss and share their findings online. They will try to solve problems and take action.
The project will be concluded on November 4th with a big webinar “Climate Action Day” having world-renowned speakers and an anticipated audience of 250,000 people. In collaboration with UN, Lego, NASA and WWF./p>
